How to enable Vacation Mode for email

  1. Log into Outlook Web App (OWA) at
  2. Click the gear icon, then click Options

  3. Click Set up an automatic reply message.

  4. Fill out all the appropriate fields. You can select the time period for which the response should be active, or different responses for different email contacts.
  • To disable vacation mode, repeat steps 1-3 and then click Don't send automatic replies.
